Zelenskyy meets European leaders in Denmark
On 02 October, President Zelenskyy met approximately 50 European leaders in Copenhagen to secure financial and military aid, warning that Russia poses a threat across the continent. The European Political Community (EPC) leaders convened to discuss rising security threats, including increasing drone incursions into European airspace. Zelenskyy said Ukraine is ready to work with European partners on a “joint, integrated air defense system,” with “Ukrainian specialists and Ukrainian technologies” contributing to the EU’s proposed “drone wall” to repel Russian unmanned aircraft. The Wall Street Journal reported that the US will provide intelligence to support long-range strikes against Russia.
