Flights and airport operations were disrupted at the Dubai International Airport (DXB) after a drone-related incident caused a fire near the airport. The drone attack marks the third attack at the DXB since the start of the recent regional escalations between Iran, Israel, and the United States. Following the incident, some flights were cancelled while a few were diverted to the Al Maktoum International Airport. Authorities have contained the fire and confirmed that no injuries were caused. The airport has gradually begun restoring flights but has advised travellers to check with their airlines before travelling, as some disruptions may continue.
