Armenia – Azerbaijan Peace Deal to be Signed
The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan are expected to sign a peace deal at the White House that could end decades of conflict on 08 August. President Donald Trump announced that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev would also sign agreements with the U.S. to “pursue Economic opportunities together.” The agreement includes a major breakthrough on a key transit corridor across the region. The corridor would connect Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan region, which is separated by Armenian territory.
