South Korean President Lee to Meet Japanese PM Takaichi
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung is scheduled to travel to Nara, Japan, to hold a summit with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi from 13 to 14 January. The leaders are expected to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the countries. They may also discuss regional and global issues, including the current tensions between China and Japan related to Taiwan. President Lee’s visit comes following the leaders’ meeting on 30 October during the 2025 APEC summit in South Korea.
