South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong held a summit on 02 March to expand cooperation and trade between the countries. The summit was held during President Lee’s state visit to Singapore. During the summit, the countries signed five memoranda of understanding (MOUs) for cooperation in various fields like artificial intelligence, small modular reactors, and digital cooperation. The leaders have also agreed to formally launch negotiations to modernize the free trade agreement between South Korea and Singapore.
