Russia’s State Duma (lower federal house) formally approved the Reciprocal Exchange of Logistic Support (RELOS) pact with India on 02 December, just days before Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to New Delhi. The pact was signed between the two governments in February 2025 and sent to the Russian parliament for ratification last week. This agreement allows both militaries to use each other’s bases for joint exercises, training, and disaster relief, significantly deepening their strategic defence partnership.
