United States: President Trump Eases Tariffs on Brazilian Food Imports
United States President Donald Trump issued an executive order on 20 November to reduce tariffs on agricultural imports from Brazil, including beef, coffee, and tropical fruits. The move removes the 40 percent reciprocal global tariffs imposed earlier this year, aiming to curb domestic food price inflation and address economic concerns. The latest order follows a similar order by the Trump administration last week that removed tariffs on certain foods and other imports from countries like Argentina, Ecuador, Guatemala and El Salvador.
