China has agreed to allow British citizens visa-free travel to the country for up to 30 days, following a meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Beijing. PM Starmer stated that the decision would help businesses to easily expand in China and potentially boost the country’s service sector. During the visit, the leaders also agreed on lower taxes on UK imports and further negotiations for a bilateral services agreement, which would further facilitate British firms growing their businesses in China.
