US President Donald Trump has warned that he would “substantially” raise tariffs on India due to its purchase of Russian oil, a move New Delhi said was ‘unjustified’ and ‘unreasonable’. The warning comes ahead of an 08 August deadline for Moscow to reach a truce with Kyiv. The US is threatening “secondary sanctions” on countries that purchase Russian energy.
