The primary responsibility of SOC Operator- Grade 1 will be to monitor, assess crisis situations across Client’s Pan India and/or Global sites and correlate with external threats and open-source information within the Security Operations Centre of Client’s location (Bangalore) in a professional & efficient manner and to ensure integrity, accuracy & confidentiality of all information gained by compliance with quality standards & legislation, and in accordance with the company’s systems and procedures.
The incumbent will:
Monitor all events having potential impact on employee safety and generate security reports/analysis/advisories as required, during the shift.
Receive all distress and emergency calls from client’s employees/travelers/visitors and coordinate an appropriate emergency response.
Be proficient in usage of client mass notification system and use it efficiently when situation arises.
Towards Crisis management, coordinate with ground staff to ensure quick resolution of events within a given time frame and to escalate to the Security Operations Centre Head as required.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of various events which have occurred during the shift.
Take immediate action in case of serious events like civil disturbance, violence and other natural and man-made calamities.
Work as directed by the Team Lead for process and quality improvements & perform other duties and projects assigned.
Requirements:
Graduate with good communication and writing skills and/or experienced professional (1-2 years) who have worked in Command Centre
He/ She should have the requisite knowledge / experience in working with the Security Operations Centre software tools.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint application Have sufficient hands-on experience and knowledge of Security Command Centers with focus on CCTV surveillance (Video Management System) and Access Management.
Be expected to have an overall understanding of Control Room operations and would report to Client nominated owner of SOC Operations.
