MitKat is looking to place a Security Operations Manager for its Global IT MNC Client. This position
will be an embedded position.
Role:
The Security Operations Manager will work onsite to evaluate and implement creative safety and security solutions. The primary responsibility will be leading the development of the Safety Management framework in the company's office buildings. He shall also collaborate with various stakeholders and partners to deliver effective and innovative solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will:
Assist in developing, maintaining, and implementing security emergency management procedures and plans.
Support in implementing safety and security awareness programs. Responsible for employee Safety, Security, Health & Life safety.
Oversee and manage all Physical Security operational activities with primary responsibility for Life Safety and Asset Protection across sites.
Liaise with Govt, LEAs and private sector agencies within the region to protect & enhance the Client s Global Security.
Assist Facilities & Local safety Liaison to integrate localized environmental health safety guidelines, programs & training.
Drive the Tactical development of Physical Security Programs for Client s personnel and operations such as emergency response planning, crisis and incident response, employee welfare check, travel & event security, and site security risk assessment.
Provide operational support and guidance to the representative on the Crisis / Emergency Management Teams (CMT / ERT).
Conduct investigations of reported acts of violations / infringements / deviant associate behaviour. Investigation with overt/covert surveillance requirements, fitting both internal & external customer requirements.
Liaise with local stakeholders and business units, developing and enhancing working relationships.
Proactively identify, escalate, and seek mitigation of threats to the safety of employees.
Recommend and coordinate procurement, installation and commissioning of security equipment designed to increase efficiency of security operations at facilities.
Help develop budget forecasting and track spend.
Manage the SOCs, implement best practices and procedures for SOC Operations.
Basic Requirements & Qualifications:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree any
Experience of 6-8 years in Global Physical Security Operations, Crisis Management, Stakeholder Management, Liaison with Govt, LEAs and private sector agencies.
