Attacks Continue in Multiple Middle Eastern Countries
Airstrikes and attacks continued in various countries in the Middle East as the war between the United States, Israel, and Iran entered its eighteenth day. Iran launched attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates for two consecutive days and attacked Israel. The attacks resulted in the temporary closure of airspace in the UAE and the closure of an oil facility in Fujairah. On the other hand, Israel has targeted multiple sites in Tehran and Beirut. Iraqi officials have reported that rockets and at least five drones targeted the US embassy in Baghdad. The Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed, resulting in a more than five percent increase in oil prices on 17 March.
