Azerbaijan has accused Iran of conducting a drone attack in Nakhchivan, marking an escalation amid the ongoing regional tensions in the Middle East. Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry stated that four drones were fired from Iran, out of which one was disabled by Azerbaijani forces while the others damaged the Nakhchivan airport terminal and a nearby school. The attack has injured four civilians. President Ilham Aliyev has stated that the country’s military is prepared to carry out retaliatory measures.
