Iran and the United States are scheduled to hold the next round of nuclear talks on 26 February in Geneva, as confirmed by Oman, which is facilitating the talks. Last week, Oman hosted indirect talks about Iran’s nuclear programme in Geneva. The announcement comes amid growing concerns regarding military conflict between Iran and the US. Iran is reportedly ready to consider new concessions like sending half of its highly enriched uranium abroad. However, differences remain over lifting of sanctions on Iran and the US seeking to expand the talks to cover Iran’s missile programme and its support for regional armed groups.
