Torrential rains in Jakarta and surrounding areas have caused flooding across the region. According to the Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), 90 neighbourhood units and six roads were affected by inundation, with South Jakarta being the most affected area. Authorities have evacuated multiple residents from food-affected regions of East Jakarta. Disaster management operations are ongoing, and the Jakarta BPBD has advised people to remain cautious of flooding and avoid travel unless necessary.
