Two bomb blasts in two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, have led to the deaths of at least seven policemen and injuries to three others. The first explosion occurred near an armoured police vehicle in Tank, while the second targeted a police van in Lakki Marwat. The Islamic militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the attack in Tank. Pakistan’s northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province faces an increased threat of militant attacks, particularly by the TTP.
