Low visibility due to dense fog conditions in northern India has significantly disrupted flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. As of 17 December, 131 departures and 97 arrivals at the airport were cancelled, with five flights diverted to other airports. The Delhi airport issued an advisory warning that the disruptions are likely to continue in the upcoming days and advised contacting airlines for timely updates. IndiGo Airlines, the largest in the country, also announced it had cancelled 110 flights across its network due to the weather conditions in Delhi.
