Demonstrations in Bulgaria to Demand Government’s Resignation

Thousands of protestors gathered across Bulgaria on 10 December to demand the resignation of the minority government headed by Prime Minister Rosen Zheleznikov. The protest was organized by the opposition coalition and followed a series of demonstrations against the planned budget. Although the budget was later withdrawn, protests continue against the government. Additionally, the parliament will hold a no-confidence vote on 11 December against the ruling government.
