11 construction workers were killed, and two were injured when a test train, utilized for seismic detection equipment checks, struck them at a curved section of the tracks at Luoyangzhen Railway Station in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The accident, which occurred on 27 November, is being investigated by the Kunming Railway Bureau and local authorities to determine the cause of the operational failure. Normal railway operations began after the conclusion of emergency response efforts.
