On 04 November, a UPS flight crashed during take-off at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky, United States, resulting in a fire that affected a petroleum recycling business and an auto parts business adjacent to the airport. The crash caused at least seven casualties and 11 injuries. Police have asked people in areas north of the Outer Loop to the Ohio River to shelter in place. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the cause of the crash. The airport is expected to open on 05 November, but some flight disruptions can be expected as the investigation and search operations continue.
