From 09 to 19 September, Denmark is leading the Arctic Light 2025 military exercise in Greenland. More than 550 troops are taking part, drawn from European NATO allies including France, Germany, Sweden, and Norway. It marks the largest drill in the region’s modern history. The exercise includes special forces, frigates, F-16 jets, refueling aircraft, and drones, focusing on Arctic defense scenarios. The exercise seeks to counter growing Russian and Chinese activity in the Arctic.
